As a full-time Junior Software Engineer at Ion Three, you will be assigned development tasks specific to your client that will engage you in learning their technologies and systems while making a productive contribution to their company. You will be trained on the client’s technologies and systems in preparation of the opportunity to be hired onto their development team. Along the way, you will be working on a small team of junior developers to complete development sprints. This team will be led by a senior and lead engineer, who will consistently work with you to build on your current development abilities and ensure you are growing and excelling in the client’s technologies and systems. Our collective goal is to achieve a point in your training that, upon being selected to be a full-time employee of the client, you would be able to hit the ground running as a contributing member of their development team.

The Software Engineer will develop enhancements and support custom SaaS Electronic Health Record(EHR) application and associated external system interface integration. The focus for this role is on integration of system interfaces and custom application business rules. Primary development activity is in C# and SQL code. Experience with HL7 and Microsoft BizTalk Server is preferred but not required. Training will be available for Microsoft BizTalk Server.

• Key application technologies include SQL, C#, .NET Framework, Entity Framework, Microsoft BizTalk,
• JavaScript, jQuery, HTML5, and CSS.
• Develop, maintain, troubleshoot and enhance data import and export programs.
• Maintain and enhance the data exchange applications including system interfaces with Electronic Health Record (EHR), Admission, Discharge, and Transfer (ADT), financial and coding, and hospital lab systems.
• Working with Business Analysts, apply the full software development life cycle from scoping, analysis, 5+ years of software development experience in SQL, C#, and.NET is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business or related field is required
• Working knowledge FTPs and Networking configuration is preferred
• SQL Server Database Administration experience is preferred
• Microsoft BizTalk Server experience is beneficial but not required

Ion Three is looking for a Senior-level Software Engineer to assist on projects with a current client. This individual will play a pivotal role in the development of new features and maintenance of existing features for an industry leading Software as a Service solution. You will partake in architecting, designing, developing, and unit testing industry-leading software in a dynamic client environment, working closely with product management, development, and operations teams as needed.

• • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in business, software engineering or computer science

• • At least 10 years of technical experience in software development environment

• • Experience building and architecting systems

• • C# development and analysis (approx. 10 years exp)

• • Strong understanding of OOP concepts

• • Strong SQL Server experience including high transaction systems preferred

• • Strong communication skills

• • Independently capable individual that can hit the ground running, but works well with other team members,

• Development and utilization of SOAP & REST based APIs preferred
